Reviews and Ratings
The hotel surprised us with an upgraded family superior room at no extra cost, featuring an oval bath with a built-in seat, a fridge, ample storage space, and a balcony with views of the main pool. The room was spotless on our arrival, making for a delightful start to our stay. The only drawback was the need for a taxi or shuttle to access shops and restaurants located down dark dirt tracks from the hotel.
I had a wonderful stay at the Golden Odyssey from 31st July to 7th August. The hotel upgraded us for free to a superior room, which I highly recommend. The rooms were quite clean, although holding the shower fitting up was a bit inconvenient. The layout included 4 single beds, with 2 pushed together to make a double and 2 separate beds partitioned off.
The hotel provided us with a shabby but acceptable room, which was later upgraded to a family superior at no extra cost. The staff works extremely hard around the clock, especially in the dining area, offering pleasant and helpful service. The location, while not ideal due to dark dirt tracks leading to shops and restaurants, allows easy exploration of the island. The dining experience offered a variety of breakfast options, with the best meal being full English. The facilities were satisfactory overall.
The hotel has some highs and lows. The rooms were very basic, even below average, with maintenance issues like hanging sockets and non-functional air conditioning. However, the service from staff like Mika and George was exceptional, always helpful and welcoming. The location wasn't the best due to darkness and distance from amenities, but it was manageable. Dining provided good options, especially for breakfast. Overall, a mix of positives and drawbacks but decent value for money.
The hotel rooms were really good overall, but being right above the bar made it noisy until 11 pm. The rooms looked great with a balcony overlooking the main pool, although the lack of a walk-in shower was a downside.
The hotel offers clean and immaculate rooms, friendly and helpful staff. The location is slightly out of the way but accessible for a small fee. The dining experience provides various breakfast options. The facilities are well-maintained.
The hotel offers a great combination of a bar and kids club, with basic but immaculate rooms that are cleaned daily. Upgrading to a superior room is recommended for a more updated experience. The service is amazing with staff always wearing a smile, and the dining options provide something for everyone. The location, while tranquil, lacks nearby shops and restaurants.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The rooms, while lacking a walk-in shower, were spacious and had excellent air conditioning. The service was exceptional, with hardworking and friendly staff. The location was beautiful and tranquil, but access to shops and restaurants required transportation. The dining options were extensive and satisfying. Overall, a great value for a relaxing getaway.
The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms are well cleaned daily but lack some essential features like a walk-in shower. The staff team is hardworking and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. The location is beautiful and tranquil, although it may require early planning due to small spaces. The dining options cater to everyone but could use some variety. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
The hotel might need some improvements, but the service and location are top-notch. The rooms are a bit cramped, but the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The dining options are varied, and the facilities are well-maintained.
